Home of the Venice Archives and Area Historical Collection. Our mission is to collect and preserve historical and archeological material relating to Venice and the communities of Nokomis, Laurel and Osprey, whose histories have all been interwoven from 1867 to the present time.

The Virtuoso of Venice, Jazz Artistry of Dick Hyman exhibit continues through Nov 21.  Hyman is a renowned jazz pianist, particularly famous for his New York concerts that draw and international audience.

Another must-see is the new permanent exhibit, "Dr. Fred H. Albee: A New Beginning for Nokomis and Venice."  It features stories about the Albee family, the famous surgeon and his influence on the creation of Venice.

 The Triangle Inn, 351 S. Nassau Street, is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  941.486.2487.
